New York, NY (January 5, 2009) - Canadian emcee Eternia stopped through the SRC offices with partner in noise Chesney Snow and laced some ill spits for the camera before opening up a little bit about her place in hip-hop. Don’t get the pretty face twisted tho - girl can rap. A Toronto transplant now living in New York City, she’s got a show Sunday, January 11th at The Pyramid for the latest installment of EOW, too, so if you’re in the area, check, check, check out the meloday. For more, peep the joint she did with Ill Poetic and Reef The Lost Cauze called “Souled Out.”
New York, NY (January 4, 2009) - Got this email from Niki the other day, Loud.com all over the place and one of our own is getting it in! RapDreamsRadio.com interviewed super-producers and Loud.com mainstays Play-N-Skillz over the phone and, afterwards, check out Niki Damez with the No. 1 song on the countdown the last three weeks! Props to both parties for their hustle.
New York, NY (January 4, 2008) - Been meaning to post this and it just kept getting away from me. Props to hard work for this one, the boy on his grind! Here are the details from Mr. B himself:
…This was a reggaeton show we opened for De La Ghetto on 12/13 at the Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA, put together by Solid Ground Entertainment. De La Ghetto is a well-known artist from the Bronx, and his recent jam was with Daddy Yankee called “Talento de Barrio.” The club was packed, about 600 peeps in there. Onstage is myself, Flecha & Richy Boy. We were performing a song called “Esto Es Calle.”
New York, NY (December 12, 2008) - Recent SRC signee and inaugural Loud.com Finalists winner Tha Crow goes in with a dope 16 bars outside an LA County courthouse (aha wonder what THAT was for!!). For all ya’ll that forgot…
Rest In Peace, homie!! A lot of “thugs” ask if there’s heaven for a gangster… sure there is. You just have to impress the likes of Pun, Chris Wallace, Big L and Tupac in a cipher before St. Peter lets you in. Let that marinate.
New York, NY (December 3, 2008) - He’s been out of action for awhile (aha peep the overdub, Cali what up!!), but he’s back here going in over the M.I.A.-sampled “Swagger Like Us,” courtesy of Jigga and them. Watch for new music from him as 2009 begins to take shape. Loud.com!!
New York, NY (November 20, 2008) - Yung Jerz put together a little something for his joint “Get On My Level” from footage of his recent performances at Wayne Hills for the Patriots football games. Props for this one, rumor has it, there’s another one coming soon.
New York, NY (November 14, 2008) - That’s what’s up! Congrats to Loud.com’s Round 4 Finalist KNONAM. He was recently announced as one of the Top 7 emcees that took part in the Jake One Remix Challenge that we posted about back in September. From KNONAM’s MySpace blog:

From Jake One’s website: “Due to the overwhelming response and the difficult task of narrowing down to just 5, they ended up going with 7 the online voting will be posted Friday November 14th and stay up until the morning of Monday November 17th.
Help me out with as many people to vote as you can please.

New York, NY (November 13, 2008) – The XXL coverboy stopped through Universal here in NYC to play some beats for SRC Head of A&R Dante Ross and we had a chance to chop it up afterwards. He gets into a RIDICULOUS verse talking about his path of growing up, and in our interview, talks more about that. The topics: meditation, doing what he’s afraid to do, thinking he was the shit when he got signed and why he keeps a compass on his left hand.
