New York, NY (September 24, 2008) – Spotted this over at Meka and Shake’s spot:

…Two reasons for this post.

1. Check above for a hands on look at the packaging for Jake One’s upcoming White Van Music (October 7th, cop it!). If you’re a fellow RSE head like myself, you should already know that they go far and beyond with their shit and this is no different. On top of a bonus disc with all the instrumentals you get a 16 page booklet with linear notes with Jake speaking on each of the tracks.

2. All aspiring emcees take note. Here’s your chance to get a track from Jake One and a single release with Rhymesayers Entertainment. All you have to do is take your favorite instrumental off the bonus disc and record your best original song. Submit it to Jake One by Oct. 28th. Then on Nov. 4th the top 5 songs will be posted for a final vote from fans. If you take the win you get a brand new beat and a recording session with the Seattle producer to create an original song that will be released as a single through RSE. Dope!
