New York, NY (December 3, 2008) - Idle Warship is a musical trio comprised of Brooklyn emcee Talib Kweli, Philadelphia singer Res, and Canadian singer/rapper Graph Nobel.  Res has appeared on each Talib Kweli album since 2000’s Train of Thought. They have also toured together, including on the summer 2005 MGD Flavor 2 Savor mini-tour.

This jawn is likely from their upcoming album, which was to be named “Party Robot,” but I think it has since changed.  I haven’t heard a ton of the music, but it’s some pretty funky ish.  It’s essentially the kind of party music Kweli should have been making all along.  Props to musicians flippin styles until they find some truly ill shit.  This is hype electronic rock hop.  Yes.

If you’re in the NYC area, Idle Warship is performing December 22nd at B.B. King’s.  Doors at 9pm, suckas.
