#8 - Dr. Dre - The Chronic

The West Coast continues to dominate LOUD.com’s Top 10 Hip Hop Albums of All Time.  Hitting the streets at the end of 1992, this album introduced the world to Snoop Dogg, began Death Row Records’ ascent, and cemented Dre in Hip Hop’s Hall of Fame.  Dre isn’t the greatest MC of all time, but the album is composed of hits from start to finish.  Even skits like “Deeez Nuuuts” are quotable classics 15 years later!!!

    damn honestly hands down his best work, after the n.w.a break up………….the birth of snoop, and nate dog, he took a couple of people on a long as smoke ride on this album, i know i smoked to this one, one to many times….
    damn thought this would be like 5 or 4, but its all good..

    number 8 damn in my book this album is in the top 5, think he just smoked too much chronic during this album, he was on that shit, took snoop and nate dog for the ride, and yeah they got that chronic alright,, hot ass album right deff classic detox has no chance against this…..

    Yo! This Album was the bome. 1st heard in 1996, location Dallas TX, after that i went and Murder was the Case by Snoop, and also Doggy Style by Snoop. After that i’ve been crippin till this day. Lord have mercy. The things i deed, but no regret Being a Crip was in my blood since the day breathed my first air breath. 5.2 Hoover that’s whatz up. RR Sluggs no Love.
